Why mito ??? What you are saying is people should be in full time employment before they can have kids, So when the kids are born the parents go back to work and the kids get stuck in day care with total strangers I THINK NOT

I was out of work for most of my kids been born so you saying i shouldnt have my kids, I dont get sh*t all off the goverment so if you on about your taxes ect you can shove them up your arse

Some of us don't have a choice but to work ... and no, I don't have any strong views either way, although I would have liked to have spent more time at home with my daughter, ie work part time but that wasn't an option for me with having a mortgage to pay, and receiving no help from anywhere!

No. I think one parent should be working and the other at home looking after them, at least until they're at school. Although its not an ideal world and lots of parents both have to work.

But, yes I do believe that atleast one parent should be working.

I am assuming you are blaming me because I say what I think.

Well, I think most parents are completely irresponsible. They have kids then they want rid of them so they chuck them out into the street to play with the traffic. If someone is going to have kids (or in exceptional circumstances these days, two people are going to have kids), then they ought to be responsible for them.

I know there are people on here who seem to be responsible parents, but it seems to me they're the exception these days.

I don't visit theme parks and things like that these days, but if I go out, I want an enjoyable day out without other people's kids screaming and generally being totally obnoxious. To that extent I'd advocate charging double for kids, just to keep them away. They talk about "child friendly" - well, I'm NOT child friendly - I can't stand rude, ill mannered, badly brought up children (or adults for that matter).

My own daughter knew if she was rude to anyone, she'd get a clip round the ear - I didn't shout or swear at her, I just explained what was happening and why. I wasn't a perfect parent - there isn't such a thing, but when I was young, I heard the phrase, "Children should be seen and not heard" a lot. I took umbrage to that, believing children should have a voice, but now as I get perhaps a little wiser, I understand it - it means keep your f*cking kids quiet in public!

1. I like kids, once they get walking and talking
2. I like sitting down and talking to kids, they often have a very interesting handle on various subjects.
3. Disbehaved kids get on my craw - Big Time

The thread was about kids and how you were whining about paying adult prices for them when they were only 12.

I gave my opinion that parents ought to be charged double for their kids until those kids are old enough to be considered adult.

If my posting my opinion on "your" thread constitutes hi-jacking, then you are obviously in the "kid" category and should be paying double to get into Cadwell and other places yourself as you obviously haven't grown up sufficiently yet!

what about single parent families then . i worked night shifts when rob was born . i lived with my parents .. but ive always worked completely part time . even if it was just a coupleof nights a week barmaiding .. however ive been studying for 2 years
and gaz ive always gotten peeved off with the kids age thing at theme parks . and any kind of ticket venues etc .. they are just simply out for making a fast buck .. as for who you have to complain to i think its whoevers in charge of where it is you wanted to go with your kids in the first place ..
